Traditionally, repairs for similar ground fissures involved open excavation down to the deepest part of the fissure, followed by repeated compaction to create a subgrade. However, this time there were several challenges, leading to the decision to explore methods that could fill the fissures without excavation and within a short construction period. A large shopping center experienced significant floor subsidence due to weak ground.
